- Mercy Medical Center, Chickasaw County Public Health, the CCCPUD and Pathways Behavioral Services will offer "Prime for Life" in Chickasaw County. This program gives parents research-based information and skills to help reduce
the likelihood that their child(ren) will experience substance abuse problems at any time in their lives. The program focuses on alcohol, drugs, and prevention strategies parents can use when talking with their children. Three sessions
are being offered on January 24, 31 and Feb. 7th, 2013 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Holy Family Parish gathering space at 202 N. Broadway, New Hampton. Babysitting will be provided. There is no cost for the program. Couples and families are encouraged to attend. Sign up by calling Jennifer Monteith, Mercy Medical Center at (641) 394-1626 by January 15th. Space in the class is limited.
